Guidelines for Paper Authors and Presenters

 

Full Paper Manuscript Preparation Guidelines 

  1. Timeline: Final camera-ready version due: May 28, 2019

  2. The page limit for full papers is 6-8 pages in length, approximately 4,000-6,000 words (excluding references). The papers should present new and original research results from empirical investigations, or from theory and model development.

  3. All submissions must include title, author lists and affiliation, short abstract (no more than 200 words, one paragraph only), 3-5 keywords, introduction, body of text, conclusion, acknowledgement (if necessary), and references.

  4. All submission must be electronic in Word format, using the template (latest update May 6). Once your manuscript is ready to be submitted, please log into the EasyChair for 2019 ICLIS Taipei Page https://easychair.org/account/signin_timeout?l=PDHIfZgUEXUjixd7XwtqKL by updating your submission (update file) before May 28, 2019.

  5. Corresponding authors should sign the Copyright License Agreement and email the agreement in PDF format to 2019iclis@gmail.com 

  6. At least one of the authors must register the conference before June 15, 2019 for the inclusion of the paper in the conference proceedings.

 

Full Paper Oral Presentation Guidelines

  1. Each oral presentation time is 15 minutes (including a brief Q&A session)

  2. Each session room will be equipped with a LCD projector, screen, microphone, and a presentation laptop with general presentation software such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you plan to use your own laptop or smart device, please try the connection and make sure it works before your presentation session begins.

  3. All PowerPoint presentations must be pre-loaded well on to session computers prior to the session. Be sure to bring a backup copy of your presentation with you to the conference.

  4. Please be ready to present before the session begins, introduce yourself to the session chair, and make sure that the chair knows your presence and how to pronounce your name.

 

Poster Preparation Guidelines

  1. The page limit for poster papers is 1-2 pages in length, approximately 1,000-1,500 words (excluding references).

  2. All submissions must include title, author lists and affiliation, short abstract (no more than 200 words, one paragraph only), 3-5 keywords, introduction, body of text, conclusion, acknowledgement (if necessary), and references.

  3. Each accepted poster author should still update your revised poster paper. Once your poster paper is ready to be submitted, please log into the EasyChair for 2019 ICLIS Taipei Page https://easychair.org/account/signin_timeout?l=PDHIfZgUEXUjixd7XwtqKL by updating your submission (update file) before May 28, 2019.

  4. Corresponding authors should sign the Copyright License Agreement and email the agreement in PDF format to 2019iclis@gmail.com

  5. Accepted poster authors may hang up their posters at the poster session venue no later than 1 pm, July 12, 2019. Please have your poster prepared in advance and bring it with you at the conference. No printing service is provided onsite. The conference will provide the poster boards and some adhesive material for you to hang up the posters.

  6. All posters must be presented in English with supporting graphics. The poster size must be A0 size (84.1 x 118.9 cm; 33.1 x 46.8 inches) in portrait (vertical) style.

  7. Poster material must be large enough to be read from a distance.

  8. Presenters must stay next to their poster throughout the entire poster session, to discuss their work with interested participants.
